On the 5.4 km long audio path "Mountain meadows and springs" you will discover the colourful and species-rich mountain meadows of the Hochsauerland as a family. From the Ruhrquellenhütte you hike in the direction of the Ruhrquelle and along the way you will learn a lot of interesting facts about flora, fauna and the once hard life on the Winterberg plateau at 10 stations. Close to the source of the Ruhr is the pile village, in whose little house a lot of exciting information on the topic of "forest as an economic area" awaits you.
